Alaina Kronenberg, M.D.
Dr. Alaina Kronenberg is a board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist. She specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, comprehensive eye examinations and pediatric eye care. Dr. Alaina Kronenberg strives to provide the highest quality of care and to take the time to listen to and address her patient’s concerns.
Dr. Alaina Kronenberg graduated with distinction from Wayne State University Medical School at the top of her medical school class, as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Alaina Kronenberg was the chief resident in her last year of ophthalmology residency at the Long Island Jewish Hospital in Queens, New York. Dr. Alaina Kronenberg has been practicing ophthalmology in Michigan since she completed her residency in 2004.
Dr. Alaina Kronenberg volunteered her time performing cataract surgery in India with a non profit health organization. She also participated in the Research to Prevent Blindness program. Dr. Alaina Kronenberg has been distinguished as one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists.”
Dr. Kronenberg holds privileges at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center, Straith Hospital for Special Surgery , St. Mary’s Hospital in Livonia,Oakwood Hospital, and Beaumont Hospital.
Cindy Wang, O.D.
Dr. Cindy Wang received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley. Her training includes rotations at American Lake VA Hospital in Washington and Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. Dr. Cindy Wand has spent the majority of her career working alongside ophthalmologists practicing medical optometry.
Dr. Cindy Wang is a Michigan native and graduate of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Wang was happy to return to her home state and joined the staff at Eye Surgery Institute in Dearborn, Michigan in 2002. She enjoys family eye care, treating patients of all ages. Dr. Cindy Wang provides well vision exams, glasses examinations, contact lens examinations, low vision examinations and treats medical eye problems. Dr. Cindy Wang truly takes the time to get to know her patients and ensures that each patient receives the quality attention they deserve.
Dr. Wang also has special interests in innovative treatments such as Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) for non-surgical, overnight myopia correction and Synergeyes hybrid contact lenses. She is very experienced in specialty contact lens fits for keratoconus, post-RK, post-LASIK, and corneal ectasia. For those struggling with vision loss from conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetes, Dr. Wang provides low vision services.
As her patients already know, Dr. Wang dedicates her time away from the office to her husband and two young children. She is also an active supporter of Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) in hopes that someday there will be a cure for life threatening food allergies. She is a top fundraiser for FAAN’s annual Food Walk.
